Our commitment

Black Creek Mechanical Ltd. is committed to providing an accessible website and to meeting our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards. We want everyone, including people with disabilities and those who use assistive technology, to be able to find information and get in touch with us.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA, the standard referenced by the AODA.

What we've done

Accessibility features built into this site include:

• Semantic headings and landmarks so content can be navigated with assistive technology.
• Keyboard-operable navigation, links and forms.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and logos.
• Colour choices intended to maintain readable contrast, and a layout that adapts to phones, tablets and desktops.
• Visible focus styles so keyboard users can see where they are.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We test and improve the site over time, and some third-party or legacy content may not yet fully conform. If you encounter a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
